UNION LAUNCHES WEBSITE CONTRACTOR FINDER

(Fayetteville, North Carolina, June 2009) —Union Corrugating recently launched its metal roofing contractor finder, one of the first of its kind in the metal roofing industry. The contractor finder displays contractors who have joined Union's new MetalPro Contractor(tm) program. MetalPro Contractors(tm) are required to attend Union's Basic
Installation Training where they learn proper installation techniques for both MasterRib and Advantage-Lok standing seam products.

"Our consumer research showed us that finding a qualified metal roofing contractor was one of the biggest problems for homeowners. Similarly, our contractor research indicated that there wasn't enough installation training available. The MetalPro program was developed to address both of these needs, creating a resource for homeowners to connect with metal roofing contractors, and giving contractors the training and exposure they need to grow their business.", said Jason Thornton, Union's Director of Marketing and National Accounts.  Jason continued, "No matter how good the metal roofing product is, if it's installed incorrectly, both the homeowner and contractor are going to be upset. The MetalPro program provides the installation training that can help minimize the liklihood of these unfortunate situations.".

The contractor finder uses an easy point and click interface whereby homeowners can search by state and metro-area. Unlike many similar applications, Union's contractor finder does not require the user to input any of their personal information, minimizing spam and annoying e-mail marketing. The contractor finder can be found on Union's home page at www.unionmetalroofing.com.
