UNION LAUNCHES REPEL II SYNTHETIC UNDERLAYMENT

(Fayetteville, North Carolina, February 2013) —Union Corrugating recently launched an addition to our line of advanced synthetic roofing underlayments designed for metal roofs. REPEL II is an economical option to our current REPEL underlayment and can be used in similar applications as a replacement for conventional asphalt-based roofing felts. Like REPEL, it's constructed of a high-strength woven polypropylene fabric that is several times stronger than asphalt felt and incorporates a specially formulated anti-slip walking surface. REPEL II offers outstanding nail sealing ability and UV resistance and can be exposed for up to six months.

REPEL II is 43% lighter than regular REPEL and weighs just 20 lbs for a 10 square roll. It comes in 250 lineal feet, 48" wide rolls and features a 25 year warranty.
