UNION REACHES MILESTONE WITH OVER 300 METALPRO CONTRACTORS

(Fayetteville, North Carolina, September 2011) —Union Corrugating recently signed its 300th MetalPro contractor, making it the leading factory trained metal roofing contractor program in the country. "We've experienced tremendous growth with our MetalPro contractor program due to the growth of metal roofing in the residential market and the desire of contractors to receive factory training.", said Jason Thornton, Union's Vice President of Marketing and National Accounts.

"We've also experienced continued growth in traffic to our online contractor finder as homeowners increasingly use the internet to find experienced contractors.".

The MetalPro program helps both new and experienced metal roofing contractors refine their skills and stay up to date on the latest installation procedures. In the classroom setting, contractors learn a lot from each other by sharing their own experiences and techniques. Ultimately, the goal of the program is to produce experienced contractors and happy homeowners.

As a result of the program's success, Union has ramped up the MetalPro training schedule in 2011. Training classes are held periodically throughout Union's service area and the sessions are exclusively for MetalPro members.
